Goblin Shaman


This is a minor character in my film The Ballad of Sinister. So minor, in fact, he has only a few seconds screen time, but it allowed me to try out a few new features in the Maya/ZBrush pipeline.


Here's the inspiration for the Shaman's long face. Pre-vis work done for the film by Josh Gridley (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3284475/) while we were working on Bolt at Disney.


Inspired by the middle figure, I developed this pre-vis painting:
