- I was born in the oldest mountains in the world, the Appalachians. I've been published in the International Scrabble Society newsletter (Scrabble poetry! The poetry left over when you're done playing Scrabble!) My career's been downhill from there. Also, I have a dog and a cat and a boy and a girl and a wife who has her own far superior blog called "A Patchwork World." She won a lawn mower in a drawing sponsored by a local news station. We're into soups and soup-like substances: Pho, Tom Ka Kai, Miso, Hot n Sour. I'm also running a presidential campaign in my imagination. I frequently debate dubbya in the shower.
